Thomas Antony, PhD Founder and Managing Director

Thomas Antony is a drug discovery scientist with 34 years of combined academic and industrial experience. He earned his PhD from the University of Delhi and completed postdoctoral studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University (New Delhi), Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (New Jersey), and the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry (Göttingen, Germany).

Thomas served as Senior Director at Aurigene Oncology Limited, a Bangalore-based biotech company, where he worked for 22 years. During this tenure, he led eight discovery projects, contributed significantly to over 75 others, and collaborated with more than 20 clients from the USA and Europe. More than 15 projects he worked on are currently at various stages of clinical trials. Thomas established the Biochemistry team and developed more than 300 biochemical and biophysical assays. As the leader of the New Target Ideation Team, he played a key role in identifying and initiating numerous high-value programs.
